How does Takara Box Card Redemption work?

A client will come to your spa with a Takara Box Gift Card that
will clearly state a dollar amount. You will then provide services or
give products to the client for the dollar amount listed on the gift
Card and send in the Takara Box Gift Card to Takara Box.  We will then send you back a check for the dollar amount of the gift Card, less a 15% admin./marketing fee.

If the Card is for too little money, simply charge the client the
difference at the time the services are rendered. There is no additional fees from Takara Box applied on the price difference. If the Card is for too much money, just issue one of your own gift Cards for the balance. (this means the balance remaining must be used at your spa.)

Takara Box encourages you to have your own gift Card program. We hope that Takara Box Gift Cards will simply bring in new clients to your spa. Takara Box provides an excellent gift service for people that are not familiar with the area's local spas.

Most of the business that you will receive from Takara Box will come from clients who visit our website. They see your spa listing and then book an appointment at your facility. Takara Box does not receive any fee for this type of service. We are thrilled to know that we are helping your business grow!


Takara Box & Spa Partner Gift Card Program Agreement

By enrolling online, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Spa Partner Program Agreement.

This agreement is good for 3 years. However, this program is also risk free, as you can leave the gift Card program at any time with minimum of 30 days' written notice.

We invite full-service spas into our program. However, there is no fee for filling out the enrollment form and it takes only a few moments.


Day Spa Partner Program Agreement

Spa Finder has established the Spa Finder Partner Program to help increase spa participation worldwide and to provide marketing and business development opportunities to its Partners. In addition, Spa Finder provides a branded Spa Finder Gift Card and Spa Finder Gift Card that are sold to corporations and consumers, and are redeemable through a network of spas that accept the Spa Finder Gift Card and Gift Card as tender for the payment of goods and services. Partner desires to participate in and with Spa Finder's programs pursuant to the terms and conditions detailed below:

A. Takara Box will provide to Spa Partner:
  1. A website listing on Takara Box at no cost.
  2. Listing in Takara Box Gift Card Spa Guide: The Spa Guide is distributed to all clients receiving Takara Box Gift Cards. New spas are included in the Spa Guide on the next print run following their joining the Gift Card Program.
  3. Takara Box will be marketing and promoting where media is appropriate. Takara Box will promote the sales of Takara Box Gift Cards through various channels including corporate gift programs, travel agents, and the Takara Box web site (www.takarabox.com).
  4. Takara Box will pay Spa Partner within a maximum 30 business days of receiving the Takara Box Gift Card in the Takara Box Saskatchewan office. Gift Cards are subject to the applicable expiration date (if any) set forth on the face of the Gift Card. Takara Box will honor any Gift Cards presented for redemption for up to six (6) weeks after their applicable expiration date.

B. The Spa Partner will:

  1. Accept Takara Box Gift Cards: In addition to Spa Partner's own gift Card program (if applicable), Spa Partner agrees to accept Takara Box Gift Cards for all products and services at the Spa Partner facility(ies). The Spa Partner will deliver the Gift Card to Takara Box to be redeemed less a 15% admin./marketing fee. The Spa
    Partner will keep 100% of any and all sales dollars in the excess of the face value of the Gift Card.
  2. Abide by Takara Box Fraud Protection Measures. Spa Partner agrees to abide by any fraud protection policies, procedures and devices that Takara Box implements from time to time in order to protect both Takara Box and Spa Partner from fraudulent use of Gift Cards. Spa Partner acknowledges that Takara Box reserves the right to change the look of its Gift Card from time to time. If Spa Partner is uncertain about the validity of a Takara Box Gift Card, Spa Partner must call Takara Box's contact us for verification, before accepting the Gift Card. For increased security protection, Takara Box safeguards Gift Cards by having detailed records of the Gift Card number, value, and name of recipient. Spa Partner's failure to abide by such policies, procedures and devices may limit or preclude Spa Partner's reimbursement for any Gift Card.

C. Miscellaneous

  1. The term of this Agreement is one (1) year commencing from the date of signature and will renew automatically for successive one (1) year term limits unless canceled in writing with a 30-day notice by either party. Either party may cancel this agreement with 30-days written notice.
  2. This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan.
  3. Takara Box and Spa Partner are independent contractors and neither party is the legal representative, agent, joint venturer, partner, or employee of the other party.
  4. Either party may assign this agreement by providing the other party a 30-day written notice, provided that the assignee agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.
  5. Takara Box and Spa Partner each agree to preserve and protect the terms and conditions of this Agreement as well as the confidentiality of each other's non-public business information, and will not disclose such confidential information to third parties without prior written consent. This paragraph shall survive the termination or expiration of this Agreement.
  6. Each party shall indemnify, defend and hold the other party and the other party's officers, directors, partners, agents, employees, affiliates and licensees harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees and disbursements) arising out of any breach of its representations or warranties to the other party, or any material breach of its covenants or agreements made to the other party hereunder. Spa Partner shall indemnify, defend, and hold Takara Box harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees and disbursements) arising out of any action brought by any third party relating to the
    services provided (or not provided), or actions or (failure to act), of Spa Partner or any of its representatives or any other individual or entity, including, without limitation any action brought in connection with any particular visit to Partner's property. This paragraph shall survive the termination or expiration of this agreement.
  7. This Agreement may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, and all of which shall constitute one and the same agreement. This Agreement and any attachments constitutes the entire agreement between Takara Box and Spa Partner with respect to the
    subject matter hereof, and supersedes all prior, whether written or oral, between the parties with respect to such subject matter.
