For the Gift Giver:

Takara Box Gift Cards do not have an expiration date. All Takara Box transactions are processed in Canadian dollars ($/Can) and gift cards are issued in Canadian Dollars.

How do I know if there are participating day spas near my recipient? Just search under our directory "Where to Spa" by city, province and area code. Remember, those with gift cards are free to use their Takara Box Gift Card anywhere in Canada - just check our website for participating spas and redemption protocol.
Gift recipients can always redeem their Takara Box Gift Card on our online for spa gift studio.


For the Gift Recipient:

Before my appointment
When making your appointment please mention that you have a Takara Gift Card. You must call at least four (4) weeks in advance to make an appointment at any of the participating spas.

Redemption
Present your gift card upon your arrival. If you don't spend the full amount of your gift card, you will receive credit from the spa toward your next visit. Gift Cards can only be used at one spa. If you do not use the full value on your initial visit, the spa partner will issue you a credit toward a future appointment. The recipient may also choose to use the remaining balance to purchase retail items at the spa. Absolutely, no cash refunds.

Spa Policies
When making your appointment at a participating spa, please be sure to inquire on their cancellation policy. You will be responsible for any and all appointments made. Takara Box will not be responsible for any missed or cancelled appointments.

Lost or Stolen
Unfortunately, there is no recourse if gift cards are lost or stolen
after receipt, since they are transferable and are used “like cash” at multiple locations nationwide.
